What’s inside this jaipuri razai for heavy winter?
Surgical cotton fill at approximately 225 GSM. Surgical cotton is denser and more uniform than regular mulmul fill. It holds its shape longer and distributes warmth more evenly across the razai. No synthetic fillers, no polyester.
Construction
Hand stitched, not machine quilted. The stitching keeps the surgical cotton fill locked in place without compressing it. Both sides are hand block printed on pure cotton, so the razai looks finished whichever way you use it.
Design
One side has a Mughal garden pattern on a cream base. Cypress trees in green, pink hollyhock flowers, lavender sprigs, and delicate vine outlines repeated across the surface. The reverse side has a dense teal green botanical leaf print. A striped piping border in green and white runs along the edges. Two very different looks from one razai.
